Yeah! totally agreed with Mindcore.
It is super easy to get the door panal out.
Just take the old speaker out and connect the
2 wire to the new speakers. You will need a wire cutter,+ & - screwdriver and some tape.
That's all you need.

Don't know of a changer, just the Aiwa and Kenwood decks. So if I understand, what you want is something like the CD Changers that plugs into your existing system via RF and you tune the radio to them. They usually have a separate wired remote to control them. But it must support MP3.

If this is correct you should look at the Neo 35 with wired remote and RF adaptor. It's not a CD changer, but has a HD (any size you like). It comes with a bay for your PC and when plugged into the PC appears as a normal HD. You copy all your MP3's to it and sort them in folders. When you put it in the car you would access it just like one of those RF changers, except depending on the size of your HD your can have an unlimited number of tracks on it. I have a 10Gb hd in mine. It has over 1000 MP3's on it and still has 4Gb free. Wesmaster has a 60Gb in his.

That sounds pretty badass...where did you pick yours up? How much? How is the quality since it goes over the radio?

I got myself a pair of JBL GTO 630 speakers to replace the 6 1/2" crappy OEM speakers. No modification needs on the door panels or speaker baskets. Pretty easy to install. They make a world of difference!

I did the alpine speakers also, just break the factory connectors off and use wires as is.

FlyingPig: Those kenwoods are 6 1/2", but I thought (was pretty sure) that the stook has 5 1/4" diameter speakers.

What's up with that?

This is my first car, and I'm relatively scared to do anything to it, but the Kenwood KFC-Xr600 speakers fit right in with some easy online instructions....by the way they sound great and fit right into the speakerharness already in the car....no cutting of wires either
