Best mounting point for the ground cable in the trunk????

Default Best mounting point for the ground cable in the trunk????

Hi,

i am looking for the best mounting point for the ground cable in the trunk.
Just wondering if i could use just one of the bolts next to the spare tire?

I ended up using one of the bolts for the rear cross brace. Just be sure to sand down whatever surface you're using to remove the paint and ensure a good electrical contact.

Same here. I used an O-ring terminal and after sanding, put on a toothed-washer to dig in when the bolt is tightened.

I drilled a 1/2 inch hole in the of bottom of the trunk well and attached a nut and bolt with 8 gauge wire to the amp. The key is to keep the ground cable as short as possible.
