Well my new blitzsafe HonV1 interface with the new G2 5 volt cable was working okay for a few hours but now the headunit fails to even recognize that the interface is there. Before, if you pushed the "CD" button (2002 ap1 stock head unit) it would read "CDC 1-99" and music would play, if there was no music playing there would be a static/buzz noise until music is played again. Well now it doesnt even want to recognize the interface and or my itouch 4th gen. I did notice that I left my itouch plugged into the port for about 2 days, and when i went to use it the itouch had completely been shut down and had to be restarted. This whole blitzsafe ordeal has been such a waste of time and money. I have checked ALL connections and everything is in working order. Again this is my second unit and I even spent an additional 40$ for the new 5volt cable so that it would charge my 4th gen itouch to which it does not!!! Is there some kinda setting that i should turned on/off on the itouch?? any help would be appreciated.
