Note that these would all be at least $150 or way more except for the P10Neo.
I'll find some links as well as talk about 8's shortly:

Oh, and you might as well look into the Alumapro Alchemy 10 while you're at it if you're considering spending $150
On the other hand, 8's are a lot easier. These are all $50 or less with most of them being under $33

Tang Band W8-740C - $32 - tb-speaker.com/detail/w8-740c.htm
What I have in my beater right now. Great SQ for a sub its size and price. Its mounting depth is just over 4" though

MCM TB W8 clone - less than $32 - mcminone.com
I have no idea where it is beause their search is only marginally better than s2ki's

RE Audio RE8 - $33 - REAudio.com
Budget offering from Las Vegas-based super-sub maker Resonant Engineering
CDT Audio MS-80 - ??? - ???
These are the definition of shallow mount/small box/budget/SQ sub. I had the MS-100 in my car pre-robbery and it put out some very "sweet" bass. Don't expect a lot of output from it of course. There was a fire sale on these earlier this year so you should be able to find a lightly used one out there on the cheap.
Lanzar Neo 8 - not a lot - ???
Then there's this one which I've actually had my eye on for a while but can't find these days. There are rumors that those who have heard it say it's incredible but I've never heard a firsthand review of them and it's always hard to find them.
Dayton Quatro 8 - $50 - partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=295-545
A favorite in low budget subs among the HT types, it has the right specs for a car audio install too
Found a solution for keeping the spare in place, much easier than drilling a hole in the convertible top well that some people have done.
Simply hook a bungee cord on the top edge of the square hole at the back of the spare tire well. While holding tension on it slide the spare tire with sub in. Pull the bungee cord across the spare tire diagonally and hook it on the strut tie bar.

Thanks b0mbrman! I'll explore these subs further.
What about the JL 8W0/10W0? I've used 2 JL subs in the past (W4/W3) and like how they sound. The 8W0 looks like a perfect match regarding mounting depth and volume.

Is anyone still running one of these RSX subs with factory head unit???
I got mine a long time ago. It has worked great and I love it. Recently it will stop working outta nowhere, it's connected to the battery with a fuse and stops working. Eventually or a couple weeks down the road it will start working again. I don't know how this is tied together. Any ideas?
