Building My System...Part 2
Damn! That Brahma sub is heavy!
Would it work in my current ported enclosure? Or would I need to make a new enclosure.
I have the Focal 165KP's in the car. Much better. More midbass, cleaner sound without the harshness that I had before.
It'll be much better when the new amps are in place.

Focal 165KP's. now, it's my turn. i TOLD you so.

are you still using the other tweeters? you probably don't need them.
Hey, I wanted the KP's in the first place!
But the damn shop wanted me to go with the Polyglass series even though I kept telling them I wanted the KP's!!!
Yes, I'm still using the other tweeters. Right now, the crossover is turned down to -1 db so they aren't too sharp and powerful. It's cool with me because the soundstage stays high whether the top is up or down.
As for the enclosure, it's a fiberglass enclosure that fills my tool well perfectly. The sub is actually sunken in slightly so that my custom cover fits over it and is nearly flush with the areas to the side.
I am waiting to hear back from the installer to get specs on the volume, port, size, etc.
