Can OEM CD Changer mount under seat?

Can OEM CD Changer mount under seat?

I was thinking about mounting the cd changer under the passenger seat instead of the trunk. This would be a lot easier to install and take out of the car. Has anyone tried this yet? Does it fit? Will this make the changer skip?

i believe Andy Kirk installed an aftermarket changer under his seat... you might want to PM him and see how his compares to your dimensionally...

I put my Alpine CHA-S634 under my driver seat....then I had an alarm installed...the brain is under the drivers seat so I had to relocate the cd changer in trunk.....

Driver seat was nice because I could change magazines easily. Now its a bit more of a hassle...thank god for MP3....more music...less changing.
