Default Carputer questions

I have a pioneer touchscreen monitor that I wanna add a carputer to. What do I need to make the touchscreen feature work? Also anyone know of a good place to get the parts I need?

It depends on the touchscreen interface. Most newer ones simply have USB ports. Most older ones have a serial interface and require a serial port on your carputer (or a USB port expander that has a serial port.)

What do the connections look like on the monitor?

www.mp3car.com is an excellent source for carputer info, and www.epiacenter.com has great stuff on micro-form factor PCs. You might find info on drivers, etc. at those sites.

A google search for "pioneer WS6210" gets nothing, nor does "pioneer WS-6210," and "pioneer WS 6210 video" brings up a bunch of Nokia phones.

To be honest if you really want people to help you, you will need to give them enough information to help you.

With what you have provided so far all I can suggest is to use gum wrappers and duct tape to make the connection.

Good luck with your project.

If you have a touch screen I can only assume that it emulates a mouse and hence plugs in via the mouse or USB port. If it doesn't, then I hope it comes with drivers and interface or you're up sh!t creek.
