Do you have the stock head unit? If so, why not buy a used OEM changer? I just put one in my S that I picked up here for $140 shipped.

Get the Neo Changer 10-disc unit. It pretends it is a factory changer so you use the existing radio and dash controls, is a 1-wire install (power/ground/control/audio signal) just like the OEM changer, but it plays MP3's through the factory head unit. Oh, and it fits nicely in the empty spot in the tool tray.

I sold mine to Drewchie after I upgraded to an Alpine, so I have no vested interest here: the factory changer is archiac and useless, get the Neo Changer for more function for less money.

If you must have the factory unit, don't cut up your carpet to install it and the cage - you'll regret it later.
