Center channel speaker idea's
So I'm looking to upgrade my current system. I've seen the headrest pods and read all about mounting speakers behind the seats, but don't really want to do either. I was wondering what else, if anything, you all have done to add speakers to your cabin. (couldn't find much of anything doing a search) I was thinking of replacing the dome lights with either a center channel speaker or maybe a pair of 3 1/2" speakers. Clarions center channel speaker is less than two inches deep and I could always pull the casing off it. If that were the case, I'd replace the bulbs with LED's and probably wire in some more underneath the dash. In any case, let me know what you guys think and/or have done.

Why would you need a center channel in this small of a car? I would recommend either adding more speakers to the door, Darkknight just finished a set up like that or Qforms has a set of kick panels for the S2000.
If you decide you need a center channel, you will also need a processor to make sure it is properly timed. If you go that route, I would suggest the Audio Control ESP3.

I was thinking of going this route to have the music coming at me as opposed to behind my back or head. My first thought was kickpanels but I didn't think they made them due to lack of footroom. I'll check those out as an alternative first but I'm still tempted to create something for a center channel.
BTW, as of now, I have a Pioneer 6900 HU, MB Quart components and a sub/amp combo in a fiberglass box.
