Default Other Speaker Positions

I got MM6 components and am looking for rear speakers. I was thinking about getting the Momo 4x6 plate speaker and put it either in the same panal lucid uses, by cutting the little fake vent place out, or by using the piece right about that so it is a little higher up in the car and less obstructed by the seat.

Has anyone used 4x6's and mounted them an either place? Is there room behind the piece above the first panal?

You'll need to make a fiberglass panel for it to sit on unless they are nice an shallow... Have you seen any rear speakers installed in person?

no i have never seen them. Thats why i was thinking about the 4x6's. THey are shallow and have real good sound. I cant really buy a quality 5 1/4 that will fit because they would be too deep. And i want to keep all my speakers polk momo. At work tomorrow im gonna take them off and see how they look.

If you don't run the wires along the side or center where else would you run the wires? Personally I sorta wonder about running the wires down the center, seems like more work then simply running them along the side.

s2k_PikeStyle, I've got the Lucid rear speakers in my car. If you're ever in Hampton I can show you how the rear's are installed and how easy it was to run the wires.
