Default Changing the Stereo

hey everyone, this is my first post on this website, but i must say i love S2000s! i just got mine about a week ago, and i LOVE it. i do want to change the deck how ever and i was wondering if anyone here has changed their deck and was still able to use the stereo controls on the left side of the dash. i really want to be able to keep those controls functional. thanks in advance for all replies!

i changed mine and use the PAC-SWI-X infrared thing to control the radio. It is very slow to respond compared to factory, so much so that I don't use it. I just leave the door open and control the radio.

I have a Sony with S2kman's DCU and the controls work brilliantly. Better than stock. And I get two functions per button (one on press, another on hold). Brilliant!

ALPINE you can find everything you need. You will be able to control your unit from the buttons on your left. (they have made adaptor for the S2000)

Are you saying that Alpine makes an adapter to use the dash controls???
If so, I'm very interested in that! Do you have a part number or other info??

Thanks!

Alpine KCE-865B is the part number - available only (to my knowledge) in Europe.

Here is a link for more information...
