Default Clarion AutoPC head unit 310C with ipod

Hey guys when i bought my S it came with the Clarion AutoPC head unit the 310C and im getting tired of burning cd's and have to constantly switch them. So my question to you all is, is there any way i can hook up my ipod to this head unit with a wire? I don't want to do any of that stuff through the radio cause the sound quality is horrible.

best is to get a new head unit... they are pretty cheap and easy to install. Hoping that the original install has a oem to aftermarket harness... all you need to do is cap the matching wires together.

for headunits, its pretty easy. Buy a OEM to aftermarket wire harness at Best buy (bout <$20). Any and all faceplates are easy to install. Many choose the x305s with their ipod because its designed for it. I went from the x305s to the CDA117 because I use CDs sometimes and you get some of the advance tuning features for audio quality before you have to buy the imprint module. But there are many other ones out there. I would recommend to go into Best Buy (because I work at one in CA ) and check out the stereos. Find one that fits your needs and includes the ipod adapter and go from there.

And if you want to utilize the oem controls:

Get the PnP adapter if you get an alpine.
