Default coaxial

Im looking at a few different coaxial speakers (dont really want to go component right now)

so here are the front runners

boston acoustic SL65
Infinity Kappa 62.7i
MB Quart Discus DKF116
Polk Audio db Series db650
alpine SPR-17LP

anyone have any expierence with these? or these brands? im leaning toward the boston acoustics or the MB quart...any suggestions reccomendations would be groovy

For those prices, you can get components.

Scratch the MB. They are

The Infinity's are quite nice, but I believe they are 2ohm....double check, if 4ohm, then those would be my choice of the lot.

The boston's would be the second.

Just picked up a pair of Polk DB650 along with a pair of dynamat door sheets and it sounds great, bass responses are great compared to the pair of Eclipse SE**** that was in there.

If you are looking at mbquart step up to the reference rvf 216, I put the component sister set up in my 98 crv and love them. They are not much more $$ than the discus series but a lot better sounding. My opinion, but I like mb quart and have always used them in my cars.

I have Bostons, I got them cause they dont need that much to power them cause Im not running a amp Yet, later I plan to put those behind the seat and put some good components in the front and then run a amp. The bostons are way better then the stock.
