Compustar 2WSS wiring
Has anyone done this themselves? I'm working on mine now. The PO had an Autopage alarm installed, but I want the extra range that the Compustar offers.
It looks to me like I'll have to use relays on the lock and unlock wires, and also the trunk release, because the S2000 uses postive inputs and the alarm outputs are negative.
I can see why some say that this alarm is harder to install then others. The Autopage has relays built in for just about everything, and the Viper that I installed in another car last year had a lot of flexibility as to negative or positive outputs, in addition to relays for just about everything except the immobilizer.
Also, the DEI S2000 wiring guide shows a hood pin wire, but I can't find the hood pin anywhere, and it wasn't hooked up on the previous alarm install. Does anyone know if it has one?
Thanks,
Mitch
