Default Compustar alarm with DEI sensor ?

There have been a few thefts in my area recently and Ive decided on putting some money towards an alarm system.

Ive already ordered the Compustar 2W900FM-AS but I have a habit of leaving my top down during quick run ins to a shop or even leaving the top down when I dont plan on staying long.

I did some research on proximity sensors and the DEI 508D seems to be one of the better ones out there. According to what Ive read it gives the least false readings.

Will it be compatible with the Compustar alarm or does it only work with DEI brands like Viper etc.

Thanks for the help

its not plug and play but you should be able to splice in the shock trigger to retain the dual zone function

Figured as much.

Any suggestions on a plug and play sensor for the 2W900FM-AS ?

searched a bit but couldnt find any plug and play proximity sensors for compustar. so you do have to splice the wires, but after looking at the wiring diagram you can splice it into the CN8 plug which is for "Optional Sensors"
