Default Cookin with gas now!

Well, yesterday I decided I could no longer live with the Honda radio that was malfunctioning on CDs and I cut my Alping 9813 out of the Range Rover and took it to the shop to be installed. 30 minutes later I had new sounds! And now I have access to mp3's again!

I'm amazed at just how much difference the Alpine makes. I took a cruise on the highway yesterday and I could actually still HEAR my music. I don't have aftermarket speakers yet or an amp installed, but it was light years better than just the stock HU pushing the stock speakers.

I suppose my next purchase will be to upgrade the factory coax units with something with some cojones, and install that amp I bought over a year ago (85w x 4) to get something out of them. Maybe one day I'll actually be able to afford a sub and another amp for it too!

Oh, if I had the time and the jack, the amp would be installed and I'd have my speakers installed. I still think I am going to install the Adire Koda components though. While they don't demand as much power as the Focals, I do understand they produce strong volume and insane amounts of bass.

I'll also have about 170w per speaker to give them which is far more than they will require.

Hopefully, I can get the sub installed before Christmas.
