Couple Speaker Simple Questions
So I bought some new speakers for my car and although originally I was going to remain amp-less, I figured I would give them a boost with a mini amp.
Here are the speakers I bought: LINK
Here is the amp I want to purchase (any advice will be well-received): LINK
Here is my current head unit: LINK
I went with the 11DS62 speakers because I've heard good things about them, and they're supposed to be a 100% direct-fit.
Here are my questions:
1) What does the crossover box do? It has a little slider on the side for adjusting dB boost, and the instructions say to mount it where you can adjust it later - where would be a good place to mount the box? I was thinking of running new wires through the door harness so that I could mount the box inside the car rather than in the door.
2) What is your take on the amp, or should I get something different?
3) Where can I mount this amp? I was thinking under the passenger seat since it's so small. If that's the case, where can I find a guide about hiding wires though the shifter tunnel to/from the amp?
Thanks!

The cross-over directs high frequencies to the tweeter and low frequencies to the woofer. The slider probably adjusts the volume of the tweeter to make up for installations where the speaker position blocks more high frequencies. Once you set it where you want it you will likely never have to change it again.
The amp looks decent, Kicker makes some good stuff and seems to be truthful about specs.
The amp may fit under the passenger seat, depending on your model year, but most owners put an amp this size above the gas tank. It's more work to install it there but it's totally out of the way. I'm sure there should be some wiring hints in the sticky threads at the top of the electronics forum, but generally people run power wires down by the rocker panels instead of the center console.
