I was looking at the 7893 today but my local stereo shop tells me the 7894 should be there in a week or two (he placed the PO for a bunch of them already). So for about $50 more you will be able to play MP3s in addition to everything the 7893 does.

I have the T020Xm sitting downstairs waiting for install. I'll let you know when it's done.

Antenna placement? Dunno - I think I'm going to try it between the roll hoops to see if it works there. I think someone from the GA forum posted that they have theirs there. If not, I guess it'll have to go on the trunk (yuk!)

i talked to a guy who put the antenna in the roll hoop said it worked okay, if you put it on the trunk, paint it the color of your S? will it look okay? maybe put a different color XM logo on it to give it a detailed touch?

 

That's crossed my mind, but I just don't know how well that bright red bump would look. I'm almost to the point where I may blow $50 on the antenna just to find out. I'll post pics if I do.

 

awesome, it's not blowing 50 if you decide it looks' good, if it doesn't, paint it black and it'll still look better than when it came out of the box. out of the box it's matte black, you could make it clear coat black
