Damn Im good...........

check this out.....see, although I love helping everyone, I feel like an a$$ sometimes, because Im not taking advantage of these great deals.....But you know what....karma....ill get it back some other way. Back to you.....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW
enough said.

Buy it now for $329. This amp will give you 350x2 @ 2 ohms to give you 700 crystal clear watts of power. IT will also give you a broken windshield because Phil is gonna be so mad, that he'll throw a brick at your car.

So you have a total of 300 bucks.

Just to clarify, in case you arent familiar with these amps....these amps are easily the top 10 amplifiers produced today.

The seller.....caraudioemart....has incredible ratings as well. These amps wont see wednsday, so think fast, real fast. THis is my final recommendation. I can also speak for half the forum on these amps.

Confused.

1st amp is for components (4 ch?) and 2nd is for sub? I wouldn't want to buy from the first buyer because his relatively low rating.

Please clarify. Thanks.

Yes, you understood correctly...4 channel for the components and the mono for the sub....I might have to pick that first one up myself if you wait too long!!!

sigh. perhaps for the Odyessy. one day.... one day.

(actually, i should point out that the Srx line is their entry level product... but still a phenomenal amp. good deals too... i priced these out in the past and these are very competitive prices... very.)

I'm not ready to buy the amp now (sorry) but I think I found an Audison alternative.

How does this sound? Puts me in roughly around $800 for amps.

Audison LRx1.400
$583.17 at ProCarStereo.com
900x1 @ 1ohm
650x1 @ 2ohm

&

Audison SRx2
$199.17 2x65 @ 4 ohm
2x85 @ 2 ohm

I get a smaller amp for the components (only 2 ch + smaller in size) and a better amp for my sub. Am I paying too much? Can't have too much power right?

Great find......looks like a great site....

Anyway, everything is good, except you got the amps backwards. You want the best possible amp for your Bostons, so I would spend the big bucks on this...
http://www.procarstereo.com/product.jsp?pr...product_id=1788

And find any decent amp for the sub. The sub isnt as important as the highs....amp wise.

So if I get the amp you listed, do you think the SRx 1 is decent for a sub? It's the same one you listed above. 350x2 @ 2ohm. For one sub, wouldn't I want to run it @ 700x1 @ 1 ohm? Is it possible with this amp? Excuse my ignorance, but I always get confused when bridging down to ohms and channels.

i like the Lrx line more than the Srx. it's a good price point between affordability and the unlimited Vrx designs. my intentions are to use an Lrx if possible for my future high SQ system...

honestly though - the Lrx line is more sound quality intensive... putting that on a sub and the Srx on highs is kinda backwards.

edit:

i'm slow on the uptake it seems...

http://www.audison.com/default.asp?lang=eng

the Srx 1 is actually not a 2 channel amp. 1 x 210Wrms @ 4ohms and 1 x 350 Wrms @ 2 ohms.

and if you're wanting some info on bridging amps and whatall -- check out the PPI thread by all tricked out. i just did a little 'how to' over there.

if you wanted more juice, the Srx 2S would be a good option:
2 x 180 Wrms @ 4 ohms, 2 x 300 Wrms @ 2 ohms, and 1 x 600 Wrms @ 4 ohms.
it's notably more $$ though.

one final thought -- check the sizes. these aren't always small amps.

also -- i have no data or practical knowledge on this, but i would guess that all of these are notably underrated. it's the general trend at this level of amp.

here's the thread i was referring to before:
http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=198380

it isn't the PPI amp post... sorry.

Now I'm deciding whether I want to spend that much money for both amps.

http://www.procarstereo.com/product.jsp?pr...product_id=1788
$479.17

http://www.procarstereo.com/product.jsp?pr...product_id=1783
$423.17
