Crystal cpe50 speaker install - help
This is getting too funny - every corner I turn as I try my audio install is challenign me in wierd ways - you might think I had a 50 iq - but it is documented otherwise.
Anyway the Crystal cpe compnents I am installing have a crossover box which offers a midrange postive of ( "flat" or -150 hz) and a negative
and tweeter postive postive or ("flat" or -3db) and a negative
I have no idea which selections to use.
And the crossover box has a place - i thought to stick the wire with a screw on top - but the screws seem to not do anything to secure the wire
What the hell - OH, and did I mention that no directions came with these gems???
As always - help would be appreciated.
these are going in SPODS with an alphine 9815

He he......
Ok....those screws DO do something. unscrew them fully. Put the exposed wire over the hole, and screw back in tightly.
Second, wire up the speakers, turn em on, and play something with good mid/high range. Then play with the settings and leave it the way it sounds best to you.
