I don't want the trunk to rattle. If i put subs in the trunk i'd have to get dampening material to quite the rattling which will weigh the car down too. When the top is down the bass is not as strong if it is in the trunk because there is a wall between the cabin and trunk. That and having subs in the cabin just hits so much harder with less power usage.

 

And you think putting subs behind the seats wont cause the same rattles??? Give me a break. Get it installed right and there will be no rattles.
