John(DK)- You know I was just playing w/ the cold weather stuff, right? But according to Dan, LED's use very little draw. I have 5 of his minis wired in and he said those use less current than one of the stock bulbs/lamps. I can vouch that a 5 farad cap drains a battery quickly.

YELO, where did you place the tweets?

Do you have any pics of the components being installed?

Did you have any issues installing them?

i can tell you from experience that you need to stick with the traditional 10" or at least a 8" sub.

you could put 10 6" "subs" in there but they are still gonna sound terrible compared to just one 8" in a ported enclosure or a 10" in a sealed enclosure.

the 6's arent gonna have the cone area or excursion to move enough air to sound decent. i tried it in my miata about 5 years ago and ended up scrapping the whole idea. theres a reason everyone puts 10's and 12's and i prefer 8's.

i hate to discourage you because something new is good but i also wouldnt want you to spend a lot of your time and cash for something you'll ultimately be disappointed in.
Old thread but was searching for some info on the 8W7 for the tool well vs another sub HI-VI Research SP10 (not very well know in the mobile audio industry but is to some of the home audiophile guys.

Both put out exactly the same dB profile at the same power in the same enclosure.

here is what is in the car now getting pulled to make room for the roll gage
140db at 360watts peek.
six 6.5 inch "subwoofers"
40lbs box and subs.

Db's do not make sq. I personally, have NOT heard a good small sub setup than can rival a 10" in terms of depth and quality, but thats not to say it can't be done....I just havent heard it thats all.

Everyone that has heard this setup was very amazed whit how clean this system really sounds; looks can be deceiving.

Everyone that has head the system has asked if they ever remove there soft top if I would be willing to build one for them
