And there is some minimum pre-wired for the rear speakers, no need to run speaker's wire all the way to OEM Head Unit.

Is that only true for my04? If not where do I find those wires that are already pre-run?

thanx,
devon

To clarify, the '04 OEM speaker in the door is 16cm, or 6.3 ish inches. It's made by Matsushita, which when translated to english is "sounds like mashed sh!t!" ...

i think the "Euro Frame" size you're referring to is often known as a 6.5" Metric fit... and as best as i know, that is what the S does fit... i don't know if you'll have a perfect bolt in or not though, as depth and hole alignment will factor into the question...

the Phoenix Gold Tantrum 600.4 seems to be a commonly approved of solution for an amp for that type of combo. there are other options as well, just make sure that if you're going w/ the e8A, make sure the amp is stable mono to 2 ohms.

FYI

My Eclipse 6.5" speakers are reported to be 3" deep. I have a spacer that brings them to the height of the OEM speakers and they just barely fit. The window hit slightly and I had to adjust the depth.
