Thanks for the offer to do testings Almilli, but the final testing should be done before you get back. I received the 6 prototype PC boards in the mail yesterday. I wasn't able to find all the parts I need from a single distributor, but I should have everything needed to populate the boards on Monday or Tuesday depending on how fast UPS is. I'm hoping to have the a proto installed in my car by the 18th for in-car testing. Finally getting this thing finished!

Also, CRussel, since Almilli will be out of town until December, are you interested in testing a prototype? E-mail me at: scott.winn@mitchell.com if you are interested.

Here is a pic of the PCB. That is a Quarter in the picture to give you an idea of it's size. It ended up being more complex that first thought, over 185 holes!

Crussel: I think you might have missed the above post: I am wondering if you would be interested in being a tester for the prototype? Since Almilli is out of town until 12/28, I thought you might like to try out one of the prototypes? E-mail me at: scott.winn@mitchell.com if you are interested.

If you are short of testers I'm happy to help out. Only takes a few days to get it here USPS. I've got the S and the Sony HU already installed

For those that are still interested, it looks like the software is 100% stable now on the prototype PCB. I spent most of last week working on fixing one annoying little bug in the firmware, but it's fixed now and the unit works great. I installed it in my car this Friday evening and started testing it in the car. I used it all weekend with no glitches or other problems.

I went to a small S2000 meet here in San Diego on Saturday at the autocross at Qualcomm stadium, so several local S2000 owners got to see it in action for the first time. CRussel has agreed to do some testing for me so I'll be sending a unit up to him this week to install in his car for testing.

It looks like it is going to be about two or three weeks until the first units are going to be available for sale. I'm hoping to put together a group buy starting on 11/5. Thanks for being patient folks!

Cool -- looks like I'll have stereo parts spread around the drive on Friday (my "work at home" day). Guess this is a good time to install the Rick's leather console, too.
