That's actually my car with the hole in the dash. Mikes car was the gunniea pig I'm pretty sure they made the first few frames by hand. Mine is all done (in two days!) and looks incredible!!! I'll be talking to them tomorrow. I'll ask if he's selling just the frames and post it here.

He would love to make a mold but we could never justify the cost. This and the fact that the mold would probably only be good for one years frame, two years in a row now Alpine has changed the design around the frame...rendering a mold useless.

The frame is hand crafted. The frame work cost $800 If equipment was purchased from him...I would think he would discount it a little

Mike and Gang, my frame was re-worked and is in the car. I'll post before and after pics when things calm down around here.

How is the screen secured into the frame? (Don't take this the wrong way) It looks like if you hit the gas, it'll pop out.
