hello all. my name is carter and i just bought a used 2000 s2k today. first problem i seem to have found is with the dash lighting. i have read in the manual that there should b 5 settings for the brightness level, but mine is either kinda dim or extremely bright with no middle ground. anyone else had this problem or know how i might fix this? thanks for any help. tried a search, but didnt find much...

 

Are you holding the button down or just tapping it?

 

Are you doing the change with the lights on or off?

 

i was doing it with the lights on. tapping it doesnt have any results. holding it down makes them go really bright. thanks.

 

Push and release with each press to get the steps, hold it in for a few seconds to get full brightness. You can also have independent brightness settings with the headlights on and off.
