dash lights wont come on

Default dash lights wont come on

so last week when putting in my new cd player i blew the radio fuse some how, i replaced it and it worked fine, but when i drove my car at night i saw that the a/c controls and radio control lights werent on. i checked all the fuses and i cant find one that is busted. anyone else have this problem or knows what i should do?

fuse #23 in the under-dash fuse box supplies those lights, as well as the
parking lights, tail lights, and a few other things. Are your parking lights
working? Sometimes a fuse can look ok but not be.
Alternatively, there could be a problem with the dash lights brightness
controller, either it's fried, or maybe it just got turned all the way off,
assuming it goes all the way off (I haven't tried it).

same thing happened to me, check the illuminate wire(orange/white one?) behind your head unit

I didn't connect that wire when I connected the other wires, is it supposed to be connected to the wiring harness? That would explain it haha
