Looking to upgrade the factory head unit. Here's what has been suggested:

Alpine CDA-9857
PAC SWI-ALP (Steering Wheel Control Interface)
Alpine KCE-422i (for my Ipod)

Does anyone have experience with these pieces or a suggestion to buy something different. The HU will connect to a 300 watt Fosgate (I know, not the best quality, but it was free) amplifier then on to Phoenix Gold components.

Any info, suggestions, concerns, beliefs, ideas, or other stuff is appreciated.

Everything sounds good except that you dont want the PAC. You want the modifry DCi that is sold in the s2ki marketplace.

 

Yeppers. I really love that headunit. Very clean sounding. I had an Eclipse in, but got tired of it(tired of their crap breaking on me). Components sound so much cleaner off of the Alpine.
