Angry Defrost buttons with different plugs

Ok guys, I did my search and found some topics related to center console conversions from AP1 to AP2. However nothing answers to my problem which is related to electronics.

I have a MY03 S2000 and I have replaced the center console with another one, taken from a MY07 S2000. It's fitted, but I'm having the following problem. I cannot plug the existing plug to the new button of the 2007 console. The plugs and buttons are different. Any advise on this one? Is there an adapter available or any other solution?

I have the exact same problem too, I made a thread about it a few days before but still haven't figured out the diagrams.

I have an MY03 S2K with a centre console from MY06+ where they have the demist button already.

Only problem is that the MY03 has 6 small pins and the MY06 button has 5 big pins, so they don't fit and i think the circuits/switches are different so its not just a case of plug and play.

You are right, I've just noticed your thread. Looks like my friend stratos is having the same problem with us. I'm closing this thread so we can continue this discussion there.
