Heya everyone,

Just wondering if any of you know a producer (in the US/Japan/Europe) of digital readout panels for cars. I found one here in Australia (www.motec.com.au) but it's $4300 (US$2200) and I would like a cheaper alternative.

I looked into some color touchscreen displays for various purposes, the first of which would be a stereo control replacement. It went through several revisions, and people had quite a bit to say, both good and bad. I'll eventually get around to building a couple and putting them in my baby, but mass production won't happen for a while...I still have research to finish. Besides, once the research is done, I think I'll finish my MP3 player first.

Is there anything in particular you want to display on the screen?

 

Main thing is the Taco. I want a digital taco dial. Really, I would probably be satisfied with the Stook dash... do u know how much they are?

This Motec one is pretty good aparently... can control things from it too ... has 20 inputs and 10 outputs I think... so you can do a lot of stuff thr it... have a look

 

I get the impression you're wanting to put the S2000 dash on another type of car. One of our sponsors hould be able to get you want you need...try HandaAccessories.

 

Have a look at www.spa-uk.co.uk and look for microdash.
