Dim fuel gauge light
this started 3 months ago on my 04 . my battery died on me , i got it recharged and started my car , i noticed my fuel gauge is dimmer than everything else on my gauge . I drove it for about a week and it lit brightly again like everything else on my gauge cluster . I then disconnected the battery to install some new dash lights and my fuel gauge went back to being dim . I got a new battery thinking that might be the problem ..but no luck ..anyone have a solution ?

mine did the same thing.. a couple days later it fixed itself and havent had a problem since then, its been about a year..
I was thinking the same thing.. how weird that half of my cluster was dim and the other wasn't...

yeh mine fixed itself once and then went back to being dim and has never gone back since..its annoying ..i dont want to have to go to the dealership and pay a grip of money just to get that stupid problem fixed

Take the bulb out and clean the contacts, make sure all of the wiring harnesses leading to the cluster are seated fully. A dimmed incandescent bulb is caused by low voltage... wiring/contacts is about the only thing that can cause that.
