CD changer - Alpine or stock?

Hey you guys, I would be really interested in some info on installing an Alpine CD changer with the stock headunit. I do not want to mess with my stock headunit, I do not have the time. But instead of the Honda CD changer, I would be interested in putting an Alpine one (and some better speakers). Anybody done that?
