Hi Guys, i Have alpine CDA-9815 and had installed alpine interface for my ipod (KCA-420I). It has been working for over 3 months until now right after i started my engine (ipod was previously playing).The key was on the accessory position. The music just stopped, (just a little static noted) disc chk noted in the HU. I checked on the trouble shooting manual and it says just unpug the adapter and plug it back again to reset the ipod but nothing happened. Anybody had a problem with their ipod like mine? Pls help.

 

I wonder if it chokes like the Monster one does when it hits an empty playlist.

The Monster hates it when it loads up a playlist and there's nothing to play... the unit freezes and the radio "forgets" it has a CD-changer hooked to it.

 

i still don't figure out what's going on. My itunes keep on upgrading whenever i go to the internet but i'm not sure if it has something to do with it. Everything else works tuners, cd players but the ipod.

 

Upgrading? What? iTunes or your iPod firmware?

 

upgrades or downloads to itunes 4.8 or 4.9 something like that.

 

i disconnected everything and reconnected them together but nothing happens. Do i need to bring it to ipod centre or should i go to alpine dealer to have them checked it out.
