Default Do I need a harness?

I installed Lucid's rear speakers into my 02 S. It came with a wiring harness.

I'm looking at getting a new head unit and was wondering if I should order Lucid's aftermarket head unit wiring harness or if a generic one fitting all late model Honda's will work.

Thanx

I bought the generic one, and it was missing a few leads that I needed (Power Ant, Mute, Remote Control, ect). I did the install anyway and then order one from Lucid. You could cut the wiring harness supplied with the rear speaker install kit, or buy a new one. I am sure you could sell the rear speaker harness for more then the new harness would cost.

Hope that helps.

One a side note: We have Powered Ant in our cars, don't forget to connect that lead. I did and had to rewire it later. Opps.

Thanx Stratocaster. I was unaware about the powered antenna.

I figure I'll only purchase the one from Lucid. However, he seems to be unavailable right now. Any email I send him is bounced due to back-logging. I figure he's on vacation due to Thanksgiving. Anyone know?

You put a power antenna in your S2000 Stratocaster?

Here, let me help ya out .....................

Our car has an amplified antenna that needs 12 volt power. Without it, you would not be able to bring in any FM stations. (The little "rubber ducky" ain't long enough.)
