Is it possible to delay the map lights so they go off couple of seconds after the door closes instead of shutting off right away?

I ask this because I am looking to wire foot well lights and door handle lights connecting them both to the dome light.

 

yep, dei makes a timer relay. you can integrate that into the circuit.

Basically its a adjustable relay..
Its activated by whatever means ie: the door opening.. And once activated it counts down a timer and will cut the circuit after the given seconds you put it to..
