Drivers Window switch
This is the second time this has happened;
The switch for the auto window control has stopped working. The first time, i took it to Honda's & they "re-set it".
I don't want to hassle them for a small thing like this, but since the drivers window won't come down when the roof switch is operated, i need to get it sorted. Otherwise, the window ges up & down as long as you keep you're finger on the switch.
Has anyone come across this before?
Thanks in advance

I think there is a no parts fix for this. I will try to post a link if I can get the search to work. You have to "reset" the power windows, I think. Most likely you or a passenger hit one of the window switches while you were operating the top.
Seems like it involves running the windows all the way up and down a few times....

-with car running,
-lower window with switch and continue to hold the switch till you hear a click.
-raise window with switch and continue to hold the switch till you hear a click.
-Shut ignition off.
When you start the car again, this should have reset the window limits and the window "should" work (for a while, maybe not).
This is when you must do the TSB to have a new window reg put in. If you do not desire to have your door dismantled, you have another option. Get an "Autoloc" devices and install it in the door. This costs about 40 to 50 bucks and it will not only solve your problems but will also give you auto UP and DOWN. I have it and it's just great.
i'm on my 3rd or 4th regulator now....
it is covered under warranty (OEM and Hondacare) but i'm not sure how this will apply across the pond.
the 'fix' only worked for me for a little while on my older regulators, and progressively worked for less and less time. and it essentially didn't work for me at all on the newest TSB regulator. i'm on my 2nd new upgraded TSB recommended regulator. so far, it's been holding out quite nicely. this is a known issue -- don't let them do the 'quick fix' and tell you it's ok.... chances are it will come back.

Thanks guys for all the tips.
The window is now functioning properly
I checked the Honda part #'s between an 04 & 02 model switch regulator; they are still using the same unit!!
Thanks
