As a previous car audio installer. The biggest suggestion I would have is to splurge and go with Dynamat extreme. The adhesive sticks a lot better than regular dynamat and also pick up a roller of some sort of hard material to really press it down with.

Also before laying any dynamat, take note of where all the holes for the trunklining push buttons are (plastic clips), and cut out a generous hole in the dynamat for them. It is much easier to do so ahead of time then trying to peel it back off in that area and ending up with a sticky mess.

Hope this helps.

It's not to hard, is a bit time consuming though and you'll probably have some pain in your lower back when done.

Is worth it though. I've got 90% of my trunk done. When I get more time I'm going to finish the trunk and start on the cabin.

Yes you should do it! Its one of those things that its worth the money everytime.

Like mentioned above keep track of the mounting holes... however I disagree with cutting them out before hand though. I've always mark their location with a marker and then ueing a philips head screwdriver I push though the whole. Doing it this way does two things:
1. Covers eveything as much as possible, and therefore you have less waste.
2. After you pull those push clips out they are now wore some,... by having the Dynamat go all the way to the edge of the hole helps to seal them up making the clip sit firmly in the hole again.

BTW I can get the Dynamat for you.

If we have enough interest I'll do a Groupbuy for it.

How big of an improvement will I notice? Will the truck still rattle little bit? Is the Extreme trunk kit enough to do the job?

P.S: I am getting dynamat extreme trunk kit installed monday by a local audio shop. I already had the extreme door kit install when the did my system last week.

Umm... I'm going to try and decode that...

The first question I have no clue what you meant...

The next one... dude, just damn man.. just damn

And the third one... umm... I might actually understand that one... maybe.
But if you back the rubber stoppers back out it will left it up and tighten up on the latch.
