you can get the stock linings back on if you keep it to 2 or 3 layers

And with everything in, the car handles amazing still, but then i do also have a lot of suspension and chassis mods.
is this carbon fiber cloth? or did u actually use a resin too

Well you can see the reflection from the resin can you Its actual carbon.

Yes, this is REAL carbon fiber composite - no cheap lookalike cloth here

I decided not to use the resin in there - I wanted it raw. The reflection you see are from the plexi panels I made so that I can actually transport things in the trunk. They come out for shows. The CF weave is so fragile that putting anything on it will cause it to move around and misweave.

It looks great, but is TOTALLY impracticle!

i figured it was the real deal....it really looked like there was no resin. looks very good =)

did you think about using 3M spray adhesive to bond it to the stock panneling?

thats what i did. It holds the bottom of the strands, but the tops are still free to move around. I could cover it all in resin to fix it, but then that just defeats the object of what i wanted to do in the first place.
