To do the entire car, trunk, floors, spare tire area, doors....
double matted, you are looking about close to 150 ft. Im sure you could say 100 ft, and you are okay, but you will always find somewhere to put more mat. 150 ft and yo should be set.

I rubberized the underside of my car

I also did inside

Then I used a light weight high density foam and miler sound deadener

It will help A LOT with rattles and outside noise

s2kpuppy dad, very nice, very clean. Probably much easier than dynamat as well.
What type of spray is that? Is it used for sound deadening? or is that an adhesive? If it is a sound deadener...I would think about doing my panels and stuff with that. How much do you think that helps compared to the foam and miler you added if had you just done the spray?

The spray by it's self will not make a great improvement in sound proofing but, it will help some. The spray helps a lot with rattles and vibration between things that are screwed or put together through the car, sort of like a gasket. If you buy the stuff at a audio store or a Best buys you will pay$$$ go to an auto parts store and buy rubberized undercoating. Be sure not to buy anything with tar in it, the stuff will not dry and it will stink
The dyno-mat looking stuff I used is not available to the public, it is used in industrial situations. Like Semi truck sleeper cabs to keep heat out and to quite outside road noise. The stuff works great and weighs nothing. I may have used between 6 to 10 pounds to do the hole car

What does everyone do about the trunk lid?

I wanna dynamat it but am not too excited about the bright chrome dynamat blaring at my face when i open the trunk--

at the same time I dont have $200 for MuZ's trunk liner....

anyone have any pics? or can you show your setups???

If the car was silver i may not have cared, but a black car--- it'll just be too crappy looking.

advice plz!!!
