Dynamat worth the price?
I'm going to do a bit of audio work to improve the sad factory state that it's in (muffled and buzzy), one of the things is insulating the car...
Is Dynamat really worth the extra dough? Or can I get by with stuff like RAAMmat or other Dynamat clones?
Right now I'm looking at either Dynamat Extreme, 36sq/ft for $107 or 62.5sq ft of RAAMmat60 for $79.00... I'm not too interested in the home equivalent stuff, that looks too industrial for car applications.
Audiophile advice appreciated, TIA

When I installed the audio system in my car the installer said that I didn't need to Dynamat the doors ince they were building a bracket for it. But recommended to Dynamat the trunk when I installed a subwoofer. One thing that u might want to consider is that Dynamat is heavy and will add weight to your car.
Loki,
Get the RAAMmat. More for your money and it's just as good (if not better) than Dynamat. I put some of it in the S and it made a huge difference. I even bought another roll and put it in my truck too
