Default What do you think?

I have done a little bit of research the past couple of days and think that I have chosen what my system is going to consist of. The only thing I dont know is what subs to get. That's where you guys come into play and I would also like some feedback as to whether or not it will be a good sounding system. Here goes:

Alpine 7894 (already have)
Infiniti Kappa Perfect 6.1
WLaurent 8" boxes for driver and passenger side
?????? Subs
JL 250/1
JL 500/5

Would the 250/1 be sufficient to run to the Kappas and then the 500/5 to the 2 subs? Im a newbie when it comes to electronic stuff, but excited to learn. Comments on the set-up and what 8" subs to get. They dont need to be trunk rattling loud, just a nice good bass.

No. Sell the amps. You have 2 speakers (kappas) A one channel wont work for them. A 5 channel for two subs is also overkill, and not the right way to go. You "can" use the 500.5 amp, but it still wont be good for your application. Get a good strong 4 channel, two channels for the speakers, and two for the subs.

Thanks for the heads up. Any recommendations as far as what kind of subs and what 4 channel amp to get? Thanks!

Send your enclosure back to William and have him cut it to fit eD 11ov.2 I heard one this weekend at WTD and it really sounded nice. It would also go well with the Van Gogh 320.4. Just get a dual 2ohm so when wired in series you will get a 4ohm load to match the Van Gogh 4ohm output.
