Default Eclipse CD7000 Head Unit

Does anyone have any experience with this HU. This unit seems to offer GPS which is awesome since there isn't anything really out there that is a single din. I'm sure sound quality of this unit is good. But the thing is i am not familiar with how the GPS system the deck has. Just curious how the input is like on the unit. This unit would be a great solution for all of us that want GPS system for our cars with out cutting our dash.

I was seriously looking at this one too (just flipping trough a Crutchfield). It has decent specs when compared to its competition. I guess you would really have to hear it, though. The different brands all sound different to me.....

For the gps you have to download with memory stick from their site and then load it to your hu. As far as eclipse hu, all their hu are known for great sq.

The GPS called area shot you have to go to Eclipses site and download it on to a cd. Its just like map quest. You need an additionl GPS unit from Eclispe if you want to see the car moving on the map. Nice units, but lost a bit of SQ this year for the "bling." The model under it does the same thing, but not in color. However its 8v while the CD7000 is 5v.
