thanks, the pics are great, feel free to go off topic. i got my 350 in march of 03 after saving for an s2000 for a year. guess i got caught up in all the "z madness". always regretted not having a convertible, so after 19 months I finally traded it in. don't regret it though, I loved the Z and I am glad I have gotten to own both cars, not at the same time unfortunately.

 

p.s. Mitch, I am buying the head unit from a local shop because I am having them do some installation stuff that is over my head. Good luck selling yours!

 

i just drove my friends 350 again today, for the first time since i gotten my s2k since jan. WOW what a difference in feeling. He had tq for sure lol. But it just felt a little sloppy and big compared to the s as far as over all feel. But did it pull in gears though. By the way what are you looking for in your deck REvan? As much as i like my eclipse there are some other good decks out there as well. Only thing I really wish i had was a built in mp3 player and a satilate radio

 

Had I never driven the S I would have not looked back after purchasing the Z, but the Z can't match the small nimble feel of the S. Surprisngly, I don't miss the torque at all. I think the S has plenty of power for scooting around town and when I need more its available, I like that.

As far as the deck, I have looked at all of them I think. I am choosing the Eclipse for several reasons:
1) plays MP3/WMA files
2) I like the look silver/black
3) I trust Eclipse's quality
4) I like the 5 volt preout with 55 ohm impedence

The Alpine 9833 (i think that is the right #) was a close second. The price is about the same unless you mail order the alpine from a discounted internet company.

Bottom line: Guy at the Eclipse store is a good salesman.
