Default Electrical not electronic

My backup lights don't work...not bulbs, checked that...

Can anyone narrow the "search" for me before I "dig in"...is the switch at the trans. or shifter or...?

Thanks in advance

Wes

backup light fuse is #5 in the under-dash fuse box, though keyless entry and
convertible top are also on it, and you probably would have noticed if they
didn't work. switch itself looks like it's on the transmission, accessible from
under car.

Hey oth,

Thanks for the response. I tried putting the car up on ramps but nope, not going to happen. At least I know where to direct my guys to look.

Yep, the top does in truth work so the fuse must be good! I don't have keyless entry but it is something I want to retro-fit - my wife would like that.

I'm beginning to see where folks have modded my car - alot of the wire harness clips/stand-offs/restraints have not been replaced - perhaps someone just didn't reconnect the lights.

Thanks again

Wes

All S2000s have keyless entry. Perhaps you did not get the remotes when you bought the car.

Interesting...nope, didn't get the remotes and was told it doesn't have keyless - shows you what they know. Do you know if this is a matter of ordering up new ones?

Also, someone did some electrical "mods" rendering my back-up lights non-functional - that cost me $400 at Honda to get sorted...
