UPDATE!!! i think i fixed it...read a little bit more on s2ki.com and replaced the accessory power relay...there are actually two relays (part # 39794-s10-003) under the driver side dash, right of the steering column...i replaced both (will cost under $50 total for both)...now i don't have any intermitent play of the radio nor mute button...the dome lights however still seems not to work consistently..

hey does it sound like my problem?

Hey guys, ever since I purchased my s2k two years ago, I've been having electrical problems. Could this be it? My accessory power (cig lighter) doesn't work (charge), but when I do plug something in it, it shuts off my stereo. Also, from time to time, my mute button turns on and my whole stereo shuts off so I have to turn it off and wait a few seconds or even minutes. Also, the stereo shuts off when I use the mirror adjusters..
