Got a good deal on whites. Had to allocate $650 to the AudioControl DQXS digital eq/x-over & DDC. Also, $600 for the Alpine 9861. So I thought that I would get the whites (being in a pinch). Oh yeah and $1500 for 2 sets of Focal K2P's.

Proposed ban on MonsterCrap? I didn't know anything about this. You see, I used to compete in IASCA soundoffs from 1994-1996 and I guess a lot has changed. I now see Stinger and Streetwires in the bargain bins at my local electronics surplus shop. I just started to get back into the car stereo thing again.

I went to Scott's Home Page, (vonhoffs.com), and read his post. Interesting, if it is true. It still wouldn't stop me from shopping for a deal.

I've been away from the car stereo scene for a while. The hobby started in 1977, then in 1994, I would enter sound competitions (SBN in Daytona, and Sound Advice soundoffs in Orlando,Tampa, and Jacksonville).

Alot has changed since then. All for the better.


I just checked out Knuconceptz. WOW... I paid 2-3 times that much for my rca's. But, I don't know..I never trust a company with a P.O. Box number for a mailing address. It sounds Knutz to me. But, I'll take your word for it.
