Default engine noise

is it me or does the s2k just make alot of engine noise? im getting the engine noise interference and the stereo shop told me it is because i wired the rca's wrong...but when i routed the wires outside the car, i still get the noise...they also suggested i change out my battery since i have an 01 and havent changed the battery yet...any others out there with a suggestion or solution? as of now, i just added PAC noise filters and this help significantly but im hoping to find a better solution...thanks

Explain how your car is wired. I'll try and help you. Sounds like your shop hasn't worked on to many S2K's. I have '0' noise in my car.

wait... you have pioneer 8600mp... That radio is problem radio.

I had to replace 2 pioneer 8600mp at my shop (actually my dad's) because of the RCA output was defective. You might want to get that checked if everything else fails.
