Has anyone used this acccelerometer? Now that I've got a laptop coming to be installed in my S2K, I thought it might be nice to have something to test mods etc. and to record some auto-x runs. How does this compare to the Vericom units (aside from teh fact that it's 1/5 the price)?

 

I have used Geez to record autox runs for well over a year now. It is fairly easy to use and helpful in evaluation of your driving. I do not think you can trust the absolute numbers it provides, due to tilt of car during cornering, braking and acceleration (all accelerometers will have this problem). But it will tell you if you were faster than before on certain sections of the course, or if a mod made an improvement.

I have never used a Vericom unit.
