factory components or infinity coaxials?
So some of you guys may already know that I am not a fan of trying to get much SQ in a convertible. But with that said, I am really still not happy with my current setup. I have a Pioneer 5000 powering the factory components (2007) and it doesn't quite cut it. I'm not going for great SQ, I just want it to sound reasonable!
I have a set of brand new Infinity Reference 6022 coaxials that are just lying around and I am debating installing them in the S2000. I'm sure they are much superior to the factory speakers, but I'd lose out on the higher tweeter placement, so I'm kind of torn. I will still be powering these off the HU.
Do you guys think I'll see much of an improvement in swapping from the factory components to the Infinity coaxials?
And would it be much work to install these speakers? They're only 2" deep so I'm guessing I won't need anything custom or any cutting to make them fit.
