Default failed attempted alarm install

What up S2KI electronics' gurus!

I'm hoping that at least one of you can provide me some information as to where I f'd up. It all started when I tried to install an viper alarm. When I looked under to get to prep the work, there was an existing alarm installed by the dealer. Being the second owner, I call my best friend inquiring of the alarm per he was the original owner. He informed me that the dealer tried to sell him an aftermarket alarm, but he refused. So, I'm thinking that the dealer had installed this cheap alarm and attempted to sell, but didn't work.

So, I took off all the old alarm and installed the alarm, well, attempted is the right word. I got the alarm to work, but the power lock/unlock didn't. I was informed that I needed a relay to have the door lock/unlock to work. I never got that working. I drove the car in this condition for about 2 weeks (I don't drive everyday, but only about 3 times a week), then this past week when I tried to start the car the battery was dead.

My battery isn't the strongest, but it still had enough juice to run. The funny thing is that when I TOOK OUT MY KEY, THE CAR THINKS THAT THE KEY IS STILL IN THE IGNITION AND THE CHIRPING NOISE (WHEN THE KEY IS IN IGNITION AND DOOR IS AJAR) NOISE. This noise doesn't stop unless I pull the connection from the battery. This never happened before and I was wondering if any of you had any experience or know may being causing this.

I just want to trouble shoot the issue and take this to a shop per this has been a nightmare. LOL

In addition, do any of you have the wiring diagram for 04 or 05? I have the wiring diagram for 00-03, and I have been using this, but I'm not sure if it's the same...

My poor baby is down and I am really sad. Please help.

BTW, if anyone lives in Nashville, TN area and is experienced with this I'd really appreciate your help and I will definitely compensate you for your time.

Thanks in advance,

Jungliano

stick the key in and take ti back out.. the ignition switch might just be sticking.. mine did that a few times but hasnt in a while

does your alarm come with aftermarket remotes? if it does.. the two wires for the door locks send power out to lock and unlock the door.. make sure you dont hook those wires to something its not suppose to cuz you might blow fuses or the fuse box itself..

not sure bout the relay.. i installed the dealer type alarms in cars and never used a relay for the door locks
